FAQ
Silicates against high temperatures
Silicates are suitable inorganic substances designated for contact with high temperatures. That is why they are used in different branches of industry from high temperature coatings, binding agents for high temperatures to the production of heat resistant glass.

TONASil Na | < 900 degrees Celsius |
TONASil K | < 1100 degrees Celsius |
TONASil Li | < 800 degrees Celsius |
Silicate paint
The oldest type of façade coatings, they are made on the bases of a mineral binder, potassium silicate- Tonasil K
The advantages of silicate paint:
- High vapour permeability
- High adhesion to the base
- Low absorption of the facade
- Long term colour stability
- Prevents the development of mould

Polymer silicates
- Silicates are polymer materials, which can form different dimensional orders
- We were able to create nanofibers from silicates, which are suitable for a diverse range of industries.
- Suitable for the production of catalysts, increasing flexibility and strength of the whole system, they are also suitable for coating substances.
The use of calcium chloride for winter maintenance
Calcium chloride is more appropriate for winter road maintenance than the more accessible than sodium chloride, because when it comes into contact with snow or ice it releases heat and melting occurs. Sodium chloride does not release any heat. The use of calcium chloride is suitable for temperature s of up to -50 degrees Celsius; sodium chloride will perform only up to -3 degrees Celsius.
Calcium chloride for dust reduction
Spraying Carlton VS during the summer months in dusty industrial spaces binds and clusters the dust particles together because of its hydroscopic properties and dramatically decrease dust formation.
